Which Service For My Car?
Your car service is integral to your vehicle running at its best possible performance. The purpose is to check and replace any parts that have worn down over time from use. Some of these parts are things like oil, filters, spark plugs and brake pads which get the most use.
Every car comes with a service manual which defines when these services should take place. The manufacturers handbook provided with every car states when or if certain mileage is reached through the vehicles lifetime.
Which Service And When?
Titan offer three service packages to suit the various services required based on a vehicles usage. These services are designed to suite those types of use and when they should be done to check the recommended parts outlined by the manufacturer and some extras we feel should also be looked at.
If you use your vehicle less than most it still needs to be serviced as certain parts degrade even when not used.
Basic
In addition to most we also provide this for things which need a quick change which are found in a service but are not quite ready to be changed like filters for oil, air and fuel. You can book it in later down the line for a quick change and turnaround.
Interim (6 months or 6,000 miles)
An Interim service is designed for drivers who have high mileage, this is something which is a frequent check of all moving parts that may need attention in a short time frame. It should be done at 6 month intervals or when 6,000 miles have been driven.
Full (12 months or 12,000 miles)
This is the most comprehensive service which is usually done annually. It covers 69 individual checks and in some cases exceeds this number based on the manufacturers specifications. This is where post refills and replacement parts are performed for another year of trouble free driving.
Major (24 months or 24,000 miles)
This is the same as a full service, but in this instance we follow the manufacturers guidelines for the replacement of parts which are recommended every two years like brake fluid and spark plugs.
