Seasonal Checks

Get your car ready with a FREE winter safety check

Of all the seasons, winter requires the most care and preparation to ensure you and your family stay safe on the roads. Breakdowns are more common and potentially more dangerous during the winter months than at any other time of the year. So it is particularly important to be prepared for the cold spells and difficult road conditions that can arise, especially when snow and ice are about.

To give you one less thing to worry about this winter, pop in to our repair centre and our trained technicians will carry out a free winter safety check on your car and get you winter ready.

Once your check has been completed our trained technicians will discuss the report with you and provide help and guidance if any elements do not meet the safety requirements.

What is included in your safety check?

To keep you moving this winter we’ll check your car’s:

  • Tyres – Overall condition including the tread depth and pressure
  • Battery – Test the batteries charge to ensure you keep moving
  • Coolant / Anti-freeze – The strength and levels

With the short days and bad weather, visibility of the road is vital so we’ll also check your car’s:

  • Wiper blades for splits or damage
  • Operation of the windscreen wash system and the level of screen wash
  • Light bulbs – faulty or broken bulbs are illegal
